New users are welcome to use the RTOT course site. If you are enrolled in a college course (you know who you are), choose your college from the list at the left. If you are an independent or unaffiliated learner, the Open Course -- "open to anyone" -- was built for you.

To get started, just choose one of the course links, and you will be taken to the registration page. Fill in the blanks to set up your user account. After you get the confirmation email, which comes in a matter of minutes, click on the link provided, and you're in.

On the contrary I have found Barry Bandstra's material extremely useful and I think I read the entire website when the text was on the hope.edu website. I also recommended it to my students for the readability and concise summaries of biblical scholarship and biblical content. Thank you very much.

Apparently, Mr. Masterson, you were dissatisfied with what you found here. This usually happens because one is looking for something else. However, this does not rectify your aggressive undertone. I venture to say that any learning requires some sort of open mind towards the teacher and the subject so that the seed of knowledge planted can actually grow in the student and become a fruitful harvest of wisdom when applied with sincerity and consideration. My utilization of Barry's course was within my theological studies at a theological college and helped me to broaden my view of the Hebrew Bible dramatically and helped me to understand the Christian Bible as a whole more deeply.

I can only wish and hope that you can learn to approach the Sacred Texts of the Bible with a more prayerful and inquisive attitude than that you did obviously in the Spring of this year.
